About The Position

This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the food service transportation department. This includes ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food and supplies to various locations, managing a team of drivers and support staff, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. The role involves planning routes, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting any operational issues that may arise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Nevada Driver's License.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in transportation or logistics.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food service operations.
• Experience with route planning software.
• Additional certifications in transportation or logistics management.
