About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining commercial food service equipment, refrigeration, and vending machines across all schools within the district. This includes performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and evaluations. The role also involves managing the equipment database in the FMX system, assisting in decisions about equipment replacement, and maintaining the equipment retention schedule. Additionally, the technician will order all necessary parts and supplies, process new equipment (including unpacking, assembly, and installation), and collaborate with vendors to secure equipment quotes and provide project management oversight.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school (or G.E.D)
• At least one year of experience in food service equipment maintenance and repair.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the United States at time of application.
