About The Position
NVMHI is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to provide safe, quality, nutritional care to support the recovery of individuals with serious mental illness so that they may achieve more satisfying and productive lives. This position assists the Food Service Technician II in food preparation, cafeteria service, cleaning, and sanitation. The schedule for this role is 11 AM - 6:30 PM.
Requirements
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures.
- Knowledge of food service equipment – operation and sanitation.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read menus and follow recipes.
Responsibilities
- Assist Food Service Technician II in food preparation.
- Assist Food Service Technician II in cafeteria service.
- Assist Food Service Technician II in cleaning and sanitation.
