Food Service Supervisor
About The Position
The position works to secure food and related supplies to support all food services activities in the department. The responsibilities include inventory and ingredient control and forecasting for food production, formula room, retail food service, and catering. The incumbent will actively cross train in all the food service units to provide relief supervisory coverage in assigned areas. The incumbent will actively uphold food safety, quality, and sanitation standards. The person in this position is expected to learn HBS Payroll, Computrition, EMS room management software, Reserve for catering, Point of sale and temperature monitoring software to manage systems and staff as well as to participate in department problem solving.
Requirements
- Experience in inventory and ingredient control.
- Experience in forecasting for food production, retail food service, and catering.
- Ability to uphold food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
- Willingness to learn HBS Payroll, Computrition, EMS room management software, Reserve for catering, Point of sale and temperature monitoring software.
- Ability to manage systems and staff.
- Ability to participate in department problem solving.
