About The Position

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Food Service Specialist II to join our team and help provide quality meals and excellent food service to individuals in our inpatient and enhanced residential facilities. This position will serve as a floater between Lighthouse Services in Woodward and the Fort Supply Inpatient Unit, providing support where needed and helping ensure meals are prepared and served safely, efficiently, and with care. We’re seeking someone who is reliable, team-oriented, safety-conscious, and takes pride in providing quality food service. Requirements

One year of experience in commercial or institutional food service or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One year of vocational or technical school training in food preparation may substitute for the required experience.
Must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
Must possess a US driver’s license to perform job-related travel if necessary.
Ability to pass a drug test for safety-sensitive positions.
Ability to meet physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and pulling a maximum force of 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve meals for inpatient and residential facilities.
Use a variety of cooking and baking equipment and supplies.
Cut and prepare meat, poultry, and fish.
Fry, roast, bake, and prepare a variety of foods.
Assist with maintaining an organized, clean, and sanitary kitchen and food-service area.
Provide direction and assistance to employees performing simple and routine food-handling and serving duties.
Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
Work as part of a team to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.
