About The Position

This position is for a Food Service Server/Pizza Station at Fruitport High School. The role involves participating in food preparation and serving, cleaning the kitchen and related areas, performing sanitation procedures, operating a point of sale computer register, making change, counting money, completing daily sales reports, inspecting equipment, and maintaining records on food and supplies.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Previous quantity food service experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the preparation and serving of food.
• Participates in cleaning the kitchen and related areas.
• Performs sanitation procedures.
• Operates a point of sale computer register and makes change.
• Counts money and completes daily sales reports.
• Inspects all equipment in the cafeteria area to ensure it is in safe, working condition, and notifies the head cook when repairs are needed.
• Maintains records on food and supplies received and used.
• Maintains accurate production records conforming to federal/department guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Head Cook.
