About The Position

The Food Service Sales Rep (FSR) for Away From Home (Food Service) team will execute a selling strategy in assigned Away From Home accounts. Successful candidates will manage key customer relationships including customer agreements that deliver against internal operating plans and customer expectations. Customers for this segment may include Restaurants and Recreation and Retail accounts in Iowa.

Requirements

  • Previous fact-based selling experience.
  • Previous cold calling experience.
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow up skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Safe driving record strongly preferred.
  • Willing to work early mornings, evenings, nights, holidays and/or weekends.
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned Away From Home accounts by utilizing fact-based selling methods.
  • Acquiring new business while retaining current customers.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution.
  • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.
  • Ensure customers are complying with PBUS contract requirements.
  • Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer information and business trends using IRI and Nielsen data to identify and expand business opportunities.
  • Responsible for coordinating fountain, bottle and can and supply income growth.
