About The Position

The Food Service Sales Manager (channel manager) will service existing accounts and use superior selling skills to generate new business opportunities in assigned channels. Successful candidates will drive volume, revenue and new product distribution within the Food Service Department. Align with PepsiCo Foodservice counterparts on existing and potential new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of fact-based selling experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience
  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution
  • Acquire new accounts via leads, cold-calling and other strategic selling solutions within assigned channels.
  • Negotiate contracts for new business, Renew current customer contracts
  • Utilize pricing architecture to drive revenue, profitability & volume
  • Analyze Customer information using IRI and Nielsen to identify and expand business opportunities
  • Coordinate placement of new equipment and ensure flawless execution of logistics
