Food Service Operations Rep - Evening shift
About The Position
The Food Service Operations Rep assembles, prepares, serves, and delivers trays, meals, and nourishments to patients, floors, and other customers or clients. As a “Food Service Operations Rep” you will attend to patient, nursing and/or other customer food service and related requests, needs or requirements in a friendly, cheerful, patient and customer-focused manner. You will also collect trays and other items for transport to Food Service and assist in the sanitation of the department including, but not limited to pots, dish room, trash, floors, and special cleaning as assigned. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent.
- Four years of work-related experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and courteously via telephone, in person or in writing.
- Ability to read, comprehend and write simple and moderately complex instructions, correspondence, and memos in English.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions.
- Ability to use common sense in carrying out written and oral instructions and solving problems.
- Ability to use kitchen, trayline and warewashing equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to speak and communicate in Spanish is desired.
