About The Position
Food Service Manager needed for school food service in the Rio Grande, NJ area. This is a Monday through Friday, day shift position with 6.5 to 7 hours daily. No weekends or holidays are required, and you will have summers off. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment and able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.

Responsibilities
- Managing the operation on a daily basis.
- Food preparation, cooking a variety of foods, following recipes, portion control, production standards according to the NSLP guidelines.
- Placing orders, inventory, assist in marketing promotions.
- Assist workers with cash collection, follow recording keeping procedures.
- Ensure all personal protection equipment is in use at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen at all times.
- Secure food service workers, and substitutes.
