About The Position

This role involves managing food service operations according to established objectives, standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring all requirements outlined in the agreement between the client and Eurest are met or exceeded. The manager will lead by example, motivating staff to achieve high levels of performance and productivity. Key responsibilities include enforcing quality assurance and health & safety programs, managing inventory, coordinating unit readiness for service, and overseeing cash handling procedures. The position also requires direct involvement in food preparation and ensuring adherence to all company policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Must be on the Floor between 11:00 to 1:30 for service.
  • Inventory must be counted accurately and on time.
  • Customer service obligations/policy must be followed and focused on.
  • Must reheat/cook food items.
  • Order OTG food items from main kitchen, ensuring proper volume.
  • Production records and usage records must be recorded accurately and timely.
  • Must follow Company health and safety and quality assurance policies.
  • Must adhere to all company policies.
  • Location/unit deficiencies must be reported.
  • Location/unit must be clean and organized, following the Master Cleaning schedule.
  • Responsible for cash handling procedures, cash audit, and daily bank deposit.
  • Responsible for inputting daily cash sales and submitting daily forecast to the FSD.
  • Schedule labor according to business needs daily, ensuring established productivity targets are achieved.
  • All weekly product orders must be submitted in a timely manner.
  • Inventory must be completed and submitted every Thursday to the FSD.
  • Operation must be cleaned and organized daily.
  • All team members must wear clean Eurest uniforms, hairnet, name tag, and slip-resistant shoes.
  • Staff members must adhere to Uniform Standards.
  • Staff members must adhere to QA logs.
  • Daily cleaning schedules must be completed at every station.
  • Proper chemical handling must be ensured.
  • Employees must store personal items in lockers; no personal items at stations.
  • Staff members must adhere to Company Cellphone policy.
  • Staff members must adhere to Meal Policy.
  • Any physical safety concerns or unsafe work procedures must be reported to FSD.
  • All staff must wear cut-resistant gloves when using a knife, slicer, or sharp edges.

Responsibilities

  • Performs job duties based on established objectives, standards, policies and procedures, and in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement between client and Eurest.
  • Ensures the operation achieves or exceeds all requirements outlined the agreement between client and Eurest.
  • Leads by example, motivating staff to attain high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Performs other assigned duties as needed or directed by the FSD/DM.
  • Responsible for the strict enforcement of the Compass Quality Assurance Program to ensure that food quality and safety standards are met.
  • Responsible for the strict enforcement of the Compass Health & Safety Program, the Occupational Health & Safety Act, WHMIS Regulations, and the safety of all employees. Monitors workplace inspection reports, annual WHMIS training records, and ensures safety is a priority in all departmental activities.
  • Ensures that you will be on the Floor between 11:00 to 1:30 for service. Breaks occur before or after this time.
  • Ensures all inventory is counted accurately and on time
  • Notifies Food Service Managers of discrepancy additions/deletions in inventory
  • Notifies Food Service Managers of product orders
  • Ensures customer service obligations/policy is followed and focused on
  • Coordinates unit readiness for service.
  • Required to reheat/cook food items
  • Orders OTG food items from main kitchen. Ensures proper volume
  • Ensure production records and usage records are recorded accurately and timely
  • Follows Company health and safety and quality assurance policies
