About The Position
SodexoMagic is seeking a Food Service Manager 3 for Tuskegee University located in Tuskegee, AL. The ideal candidate will have a passion for university dining and strong experience with residential dining operations. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions, enabling employees to positively influence college students' well-being and create a healthy learning environment. SodexoMagic is a joint venture partnership between Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo, operating as a certified minority company that delivers food, facilities management, and integrated services to various clients. This alliance aims to deliver creative solutions with local partners.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years minimum management experience
- 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
- Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
- Prior experience engaging with clients and customers in a campus dining environment
- Proven client relationship and customer service skills

Responsibilities
- Lead frontline teams, mentoring them in accurate cash handling, operations, open and closing processes.
- Train and manage department HACCP Safety Programs, Sodexo programs and daily operation standards.
