This is a full-time position in the Food and Nutrition department at AMC Grafton. The Food Service Lead acts as a resource for employees and students, providing training, orientation, and day-to-day work direction. This role involves monitoring productivity, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient and timely service. The Lead will also assist with human resource responsibilities, interpret department policies, and manage general department operations. A key aspect of the role is maintaining a high-quality food production operation, resolving customer complaints, and addressing workflow, staffing, and equipment issues. The Lead will also be responsible for forecasting food needs, maintaining records, inspecting equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards. In some instances, the Lead may also perform duties of a Food Service Assistant or Food Ambassador, including patient meal assembly and delivery, dish room duties, cashiering, and food preparation.
