About The Position

The Terraces of Boise is seeking talented food service leads to join their team. This role involves performing duties related to setting up and working on a trayline, serving food to residents, washing dishes, bussing dishes, preparing food items like salads and desserts, and maintaining the cleanliness of food service and dining room areas. The community is nationally rated by U.S News & World Report for Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care.

Requirements

• Previous food handling experience required
• Current Food Handlers Certification, or willingness to obtain, required
• Extreme attention to detail required

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience with mechanized/prescribed diets preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets residents and guests promptly as they arrive at their table.
• Informs guests of daily specials and makes recommendations.
• Completes bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed or assigned.
• Refills beverages throughout the meal service.
• Keeps alert to resident requests and special needs; assists residents with plates or trays.
