To perform skilled work in the preparation and service of nutritionally adequate, reimbursable meals and being responsible for meeting production deadlines and assume responsibility for the quality of food products. The Food & Nutrition Services General Worker (Assistant I) shall carry out essential performance responsibilities including following daily work schedules for food production, service, and cleaning, participating in on-going state-approved training, demonstrating exceptional customer service, operating point-of-sale systems, adhering to food safety rules, performing kitchen duties, ensuring safe meal service, assisting with ordering and inventory, following recipes, operating food service equipment safely, maintaining a clean work environment, ensuring sanitation practices are adhered to, driving vans for food delivery, and promoting all activities in compliance with equal employment and non-discrimination policies.
