Food Service Department - Substitute Pool 2026/2027 School Year
About The Position
This position is for the 2026/2027 School Year Substitute Pool within the Food Service Department. Classified Substitutes are on-call as needed on a day-to-day basis for short or long-term assignments. These are not permanent positions. The various assignments include Food Service Worker I, Food Service Worker II, Student Sales Clerk, and other classified positions as needed. Applications are processed in the order they are received, monthly as needed, and may take 3-4 weeks for processing depending on the number of applications received. Substitutes are paid at step one of the assignment based on the salary schedule.
Requirements
- TB Test Clearance or TB Questionnaire (may be provided upon hire)
- High School Diploma/GED (must be provided upon hire)
- Resume (Must be in Word or PDF format)
- Letter of Introduction (Must be in Word or PDF format)
- Attachments must be in Word or PDF format
- Incomplete applications will not be considered
Responsibilities
- Serve as a substitute in various food service roles, including Food Service Worker I, Food Service Worker II, and Student Sales Clerk.
- Fulfill other classified position needs as required.
- Be available on an as-needed, day-to-day basis for short or long-term assignments.
