The Food Service Custodian role is a flexible position focused on maintaining the cleanliness of the food service department within a school environment.

Requirements

• Ability to stay positive under pressure.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior cafeteria or food industry experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, cleaning floors.
• Cleans food production area, serving area and sitting area during and after meal service.
• Performs all other kitchen duties as required including assisting in the serving of food items when necessary.
• Provides services to cafeteria customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
