Requirements

Responsibilities
- Oversight of meal preparation following the pre-planned and approved menus.
- Ensuring that meals served to clients are in compliance with dietary standards, meet special dietary needs, accommodate food allergies, intolerances, and food restrictions requested to follow religious, cultural, and ethnic food practices.
- Directing the preparation of food to be served complying with all applicable state and federal sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards, and following internal food production procedures.
- Complying with all applicable State and Federal sanitation regulations, food safety guidelines, food/culinary management, medical nutrition therapy dietary management, inspection readiness, personal hygiene standards, and following internal food production procedures.
- Appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.
