This position supports catering prep (BOH and line) for daily operations, meeting daily quick-service, food service, safety and quality, availability, merchandising, and guest service standards. The role ensures proper food quantities are set for daily and ongoing service, participates in safety logs (food temperatures, rotation, waste), and maintains safe food handling practices. The Food Service Cook is responsible for their own proper uniform, hygiene, hand-washing, and glove use, and for maintaining a safe work environment by abiding by all safety rules. They follow daily prep and item lists, actively support operations in their assigned role, and fill in as necessary. The cook efficiently responds to guest and client feedback, reporting issues to supervisors to mitigate further occurrences. Communication with the Restaurant Supervisor and/or Food Operations Manager regarding any issues with daily service or quality is essential. The role requires knowledge of all menu items, prices, and specials. Additional duties include assisting with dishwashing as necessary and performing other tasks as deemed necessary. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment and upholding company policies and procedures are also key responsibilities.
