About The Position

Lunds & Byerlys Apple Valley is hiring a part-time Evening Food Service Clerk to help create a positive shopping experience for customers. The position pays $16.00–$18.00 per hour. The store operates seven days a week, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; this role is scheduled for shifts ranging from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Food Service Clerk assists customers, prepares and prices deli items, stocks and rotates merchandise, and helps maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe department. The ideal candidate is a helpful team player who treats customers and coworkers respectfully, brings hospitality to customer interactions, and is receptive to innovative retail solutions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in deli or food service.
Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
Communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
