About The Position

The Food Service Cashier at Starbucks Cafe will accurately and rapidly ring a variety of hot and cold drinks, as well as sandwiches, bakery goods, lunch options, and quick snacks at the cash register, while demonstrating good customer service for the Food & Nutrition Department. This role involves assisting in collecting money for food sold, preparing and displaying food for sale, maintaining sanitation of equipment, and restocking retail items.

Requirements

Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent four years of work-related experience.
Barista experience (required)
Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English
Ability to add and subtract numbers.
Ability to handle patron complaints with respect.

Responsibilities

Assist in collecting money for food sold at Starbucks Cafe.
To prepare and display food for sale in the cafeteria.
To maintain sanitation of all equipment within the cafe.
Restocking all retail items as needed.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
