About The Position

Performs a variety of duties related to the school food service program, to maintain food service facilities in a clean and sanitary condition. This role involves setting up serving areas and steam tables, serving food to students and faculty, counting milk and other food items, adhering to safe and sanitary working practices, and collecting money and making change using a cash register. The position also requires ensuring proper storage of food items and supplies, and performing other duties as assigned by the manager. The role emphasizes the importance of following instructions, effective communication, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for duration of work shift.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instruction.
• Communicate both verbally and written with students and adults effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Must take “Safe Serve” course within first 6 month probation period.
