About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Food Service Attendant prepares and portions a variety of foods requiring short preparation for patients. This role involves delivering meals and nourishments to patients, while providing high quality customer service. The attendant must comply with HACCP guidelines and ensure proper washing and sanitizing of work areas and equipment. This full-time position (1.0 FTE, 8-hr Variable shifts, 40 hours per week) is located at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

Requirements

  • National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training: Specific vocational training. This training can be provided in a school, work, military, institutional or vocational environment
  • 6 months training or on the job training in quantity food preparation and basic principles of sanitation and safety in food handling
