Requirements

  • National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience in retail dining or patient dining with emphasis on customer service and food handling.
  • 1 year Computer experience, patient interaction, and food service experience.
  • Experience in health care facility or large food service operation.
  • 1 year experience in or Dietary kitchen using 'therapeutic diets'.
  • 1 year Cashiering experience.
  • 1 year Barista experience.

Responsibilities

  • All Food Service staff must provide a high level of customer service for patients, family members, volunteers, physicians and staff.
  • The Service Excellence Standards of Behavior guidelines must be adhered to at all times.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of, and be compliant with, specified regulatory requirements, and food safety and sanitation regulations for food service in a health care environment.
  • Proper sanitation procedures and practices must be following to assure the cleanliness and sanitation of ware-washing, service-ware, equipment in the work area.
