About The Position

Maplefields is seeking a Full-Time/Part-Time Food Service Associate for their Peru, NY location. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with deliveries. The position offers a salary range of $17.00 - $19.00 per hour.

Ability to lift objects properly up to 50lbs.
Ability to work in multiple different temperatures during the day.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide excellent customer service throughout their interaction.
Set up food service, kitchen, prep stations, and equipment for the business day.
Prepare or assist in the preparation of hot and cold food items.
Ensure proper utensils, napkins, and condiments are available to customers.
Check food temperatures before serving, following all food safety guidelines.
Check cold case temperatures frequently.
Visually inspect all products for quality or out-of-date labels and remove them from the selling floor.
Take orders and serve food items to customers according to their specific requests.
Clean, wash, and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, pots, pans, service ware, utensils, and equipment.
Collect and place garbage/compost in designated containers.
Provide guidance and training to other employees performing related work (may).
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management immediately.
Assist in receiving deliveries and putting loads away in an orderly manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
