About The Position

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a food service setting. Key duties include greeting customers, preparing food, ensuring food safety standards are met, taking orders, serving food, and maintaining a clean work environment. The role may also involve training other employees, receiving deliveries, and reporting equipment issues.

Requirements

Ability to follow all food safety/sanitation guidelines.
Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
Ability to lift objects properly up to 50lbs.
Ability to work in multiple different temperatures during the day.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide excellent customer service throughout their interaction.
Set up food service, kitchen, prep stations, and equipment for the business day.
Prepare or assist in the preparation of hot and cold food items.
Ensure proper utensils, napkins, and condiments are available to customers.
Check food temperatures before serving, following all food safety guidelines.
Check cold case temperatures frequently.
Visually inspect all products for quality or out-of-date labels and remove from selling floor as needed.
Take orders and serve food items to customers according to their specific requests.
Clean, wash, and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, pots, pans, service ware, utensils, and equipment.
Collect and place garbage/compost in designated containers.
Provide guidance and training to other employees performing related work (may be required).
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management immediately.
Assist in receiving deliveries and putting loads away in an orderly manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
