Evening/Weekend Food Service Associate
About The Position
Immanuel Communities is seeking a Food Service Associate to work at The Lighthouse, a facility with 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites. This role involves assisting in patient tray line assembly, operating and cleaning the dishwasher, serving meals to cafeteria patrons, operating the cash register, and maintaining records, inventories, surveys, and other cafeteria-related controls. The schedule includes weekday evenings (3:45pm-7:30pm) and Saturdays and Sundays (7:00am-2:30pm or 3:45pm-7:30pm), including holidays, totaling approximately 16 hours per week. Flexibility to work either shift is required. This position pays up to $18.31/hour, with pay based on experience, certifications, skills, and education.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service associate/dietary aide experience in a health care setting preferred
- Cash handling experience preferred for cafeteria duties
