About The Position

Serve up food and fellowship as a Food Service Associate at Boys Town! This part-time position, 25 hours a week, involves preparing nutritious meals for youth. You will be responsible for adhering to federal sanitation regulations, operating and maintaining kitchen equipment, and communicating professionally while multitasking.

Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs
• Subject to environmental conditions such as walk in coolers, freezers, stoves, ovens and steam tables. Exposure to odors, steam, and cleaning solutions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous work experience in food services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Federal Sanitation regulations concerning facilities, equipment, and utensils.
• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of dish machines, ovens, steamers, slicers, freezers, and refrigeration.
• Ability to communicate in an articulate, professional manner.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality standards.
