About The Position

The Market is looking for a Full-Time Food Service Associate to join our team! If you're energetic, dependable, enjoy working with people, and like staying busy, we'd love to have you on the Tiger team. This is a 30+ hour per week position with morning and mid-shift hours and weekend availability required. You'll help create a great experience for our customers while preparing fresh food, keeping the deli and store looking great, and working alongside a supportive team.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Positive, upbeat, and dependable attitude.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Ability to stay on your feet and remain active for much of the day.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Previous experience working in a busy kitchen or food-service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, fast, and exceptional customer service.
Build relationships with customers and create an experience that keeps them coming back.
Prepare and cook a variety of deli food items.
Wash, cut, mix, and prepare ingredients for cooking.
Steam, grill, boil, bake, or fry meats, vegetables, and other food items according to Tiger standards.
Check food and ingredients for freshness and proper storage.
Keep the kitchen, deli, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
Monitor inventory and help maintain adequate food and ingredient supplies.
Follow food safety and cleanliness standards.
Work efficiently and maintain quality during busy periods.
Assist customers with propane refills.
Work as part of a team while also being comfortable working independently.
