About The Position

The Market at Locust Grove is looking for a Full-Time Morning Customer Service Associate to join their team. The Market is described as more than a gas station, but a gourmet Market and a local community favorite. They are seeking an individual who is friendly, dependable, energetic, and enjoys creating great experiences for customers. This role involves working with a supportive team and staying busy while getting to know regular customers.

Requirements

• Friendly, positive, and dependable personality.
• Enjoys working with people and providing great customer service.
• Comfortable handling cash and using computers/POS systems.
• Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, customer service, food service, or cashier experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fast, and exceptional customer service.
• Welcome customers and create a positive, helpful experience.
• Build relationships with regular customers and become a familiar face in the community.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems and accurately process customer transactions.
• Answer customer questions and assist with products, promotions, and store services.
• Keep the store, restrooms, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Stock and organize merchandise, food, and other products.
• Assist with deli and food-service needs as needed.
• Follow cash-handling, safety, and operational procedures.
