About The Position
Spend your summer making mealtimes the best part of a camper's day. As a Food Service Associate, you'll keep the dining hall running, help serve hundreds of people three times a day, and set the tone for the room every time campers walk in. Requirements
- A professing Christian with a personal faith
- Strong work ethic and ability to keep pace during busy meal service
- Team-first mindset and good communication
- Attention to cleanliness and food safety standards
- A friendly, welcoming presence with campers and guests
- Willingness to be fully engaged in a live-in summer camp environment
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Employment is contingent on background and reference checks
Responsibilities
- Keep the dining room clean, organized, and welcoming
- Assist with meal setup, serving, and clean-up
- Wash dishes, clean floors, and manage trash and recycling
- Stock beverage and food stations, including coffee and cereal
- Greet campers, help with announcements, and create a fun atmosphere
- Work alongside the Food Service and Custodial teams to keep everything running smoothly
- Assist with camper check-in and check-out on weekends
- Participate in camp activities planned by the Recreation and Ministry Departments, primarily after dinner hours
