About The Position

The Food Service Associate participates in preparing, assembling, and delivering meals and other food items to patients, hospital staff, and visitors. The role also contributes to providing nutritional care to patients and requires proper food handling and maintenance of appropriate departmental sanitation. Employees must be available five days and work three out of four weekends each month. Holiday rotation is required. The position is part-time at Lansdale Hospital in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, with a rotating shift.

Requirements

Ability to read and communicate in English.
Interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Participate in the preparation, assembly, and delivery of meals and food items for patients, hospital staff, and visitors.

Practice proper food handling techniques and maintain an appropriate level of sanitation in the department.
