Food Service Assistant
About The Position
Rome Health is seeking a Food Service Assistant (FSA) to join our Food and Nutrition Services team. This position offers flexibility across all shifts and days, with varied shifts available including days, evenings, and weekends, providing support throughout the department as needed. The Food Service Assistant plays a key role in delivering high-quality service to patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities may include assisting on the patient meal production line, operating the cash register, supporting dish room operations, and performing a variety of general food service duties. Team members may be assigned to different areas of the department to help ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
