About The Position

The Village at St Barnabas is looking for Food Service Assistants. This role involves suggesting and taking menu orders, serving food and beverages, and working with food & beverage supplies. You will adhere to Food Server Standards of Excellence and perform other duties as assigned. The ability to interact positively with team members, other staff, and residents is essential.

Requirements

Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
Must be able to navigate/move about the facility to deliver meals and take meal orders.

Responsibilities

Suggests and takes menu orders and serves food and beverages.
Will work with food & beverage supplies including small trays, carafes, coffee pots, plates, silverware, dishes and glassware.
Adheres to and applies all Food Server Standards of Excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Ability to interact with team members, other staff and residents.
