About The Position

Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas. In addition, assists in the serving and preparation of food. Promotes an environment of customer service, hospitality, and student satisfaction. We have 2 current openings for this position with different schedules: 1. Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm 2. Sunday 9:30 am - 6:30 pm, Monday and Tuesday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, Wednesday & Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Requirements

  • Minimum: High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency Diploma.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Individual should have well-defined habits of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Must meet State or local food handling requirements, whichever are more restrictive.
  • Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certificates.

  • Three months experience in a food service capacity.
  • Serve Safe certification.

Responsibilities

  • Must create and sustain positive working relationships with co-workers.
  • Ensures equipment and assigned work areas are clean and maintained in accordance with state and local codes.
  • Assists in the preparation of food.
  • Assists in serving food.
  • Cleans and maintains dining room and kitchen facilities.
  • Operates dish-washing equipment.
  • Fills and refills Cafeteria items as necessary.
  • Attends required staff training sessions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
