About The Position
Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation Position: Food Service Aide (FSA) / Dietary Aide. Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous healthcare food service experience
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
- Be an integral part of the food preparations, serving of the prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors, and assisting in clean up.
- Provide quality work, showing knowledge of the job, and good decision-making.
- Be timely and efficient when preparing food.
- Provide high-quality food preparation and service.
- Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work.
- Volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
- Demonstrate reliability and dependability in your work.
- Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.
