About The Position
HonorHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, in affiliation with Select Medical, is seeking a Per Diem Food Service Aide for their location at 8850 E Pima Center Parkway, Scottsdale, AZ 85258. This role offers an hourly rate of $20. The Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. The hospital provides an extensive orientation program for a smooth transition and offers opportunities for advancement. Part-time/Per Diem positions are eligible for 401k upon reaching 1,000 hours of work within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year. Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner
- Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work
- Maintain compliance to regulatory requirements for safe food handling, by following sanitation, infection control, risk management guidelines and HACCP plan.
- Completes cleaning duties, pulling trash, sweeping, mopping
- Assist patients in completing menu selections, offering alternative menus in accordance with food allergies, food sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
- Update and validate diet changes in the patient diet management system, prints and distributes reports, tallies, menus and meal tickets.
- Stock nourishment rooms and assist with kitchen stocking
- Perform cafeteria duties as assigned including serving, grilling, stocking, cleaning and cash handling.
