Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Food Service Aide to join our Food & Nutrition team. The main focus of our Food Service Aides is providing personalized meal service to hospital patients. This includes assisting patients with meal selection, serving meals, and clearing soiled trays. The role also involves stocking nursing unit pantries, transporting meal carts to and from patient floors, and performing various other duties assigned by management. Additionally, the position requires serving cafeteria customers courteously, stocking cafeteria areas, maintaining general sanitation, and assisting other cafeteria and patient service staff as needed. A key responsibility is the record-keeping of safe food and refrigeration temperatures, and working with management to ensure smooth operations and quality control.
