About The Position
At the Barber National Institute, we’re making dreams come true. As a Food Service Aide, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students and staff.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs with assistance
- Comfort working in a school setting with light to medium physical demands
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing needs
- A passion for helping others in a meaningful way
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Driving to sponsor sites to pick up and deliver meals
- Assisting with food prep and serving meals to students and staff
- Cleaning dishes, utensils, and dining areas
- Stocking supplies and maintaining inventory
- Following health and safety guidelines from the PA Department of Health
- Supporting students with physical or behavioral needs as required
