About The Position

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a Per Diem Food Service Aide for their Oklahoma City location. This role is crucial in providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients with a variety of complex medical conditions, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. Requirements

Must be 18 years or older

Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
Healthcare/restaurant experience

Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner
Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner
Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work
Maintain compliance to regulatory requirements for safe food handling, by following sanitation, infection control, risk management guidelines and HACCP plan.
Completes cleaning duties, pulling trash, sweeping, mopping
Assist patients in completing menu selections, offering alternative menus in accordance with food allergies, food sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
Update and validate diet changes in the patient diet management system, prints and distributes reports, tallies, menus and meal tickets.
Stock nourishment rooms and assist with kitchen stocking
Perform cafeteria duties as assigned including serving, grilling, stocking, cleaning and cash handling.
