About The Position

This position is for a Food Service Aide, working part-time. The role involves a variety of food service functions under the direction of the Director & Executive Chef. Responsibilities include cold food sandwich preparation, sandwich assembly to order, pizza making, customer service, check assembly and food distribution, patient tray assembly, cashiering, and dish room duties. The company has been serving Erie and surrounding counties since 1876 and is located in Sandusky, a town described as "Best Coastal Small Town in America" along Lake Erie. Requirements

Ability to read and write small letters and numbers
Ability to communicate and understand written and oral communication
Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations
Ability to lift 30 pounds and be mobile
Punctual attendance at assigned work location is required
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain an accident free workplace, including ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of emergency codes
Ability to comply with OSHA regulations and CDC standard and transmission-based precaution recommendations and to utilize proper personal protective equipment
Ability to comply with provisions of applicable S.D.S. forms
Successful completion of a ninety (90) day probationary period
