About The Position

Kevin’s Natural Foods is seeking an experienced Account Manager to establish and lead our emerging food service channel from the ground up. You’ll develop market strategy, build key partnerships, and drive growth in this new business sector while managing a portfolio of national accounts. This role involves working both remotely and in the field, including travel for sample cuttings and trade shows, and potentially managing broker networks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a successful sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Resourceful and driven with a proven track record of performance in a work environment with a high level of autonomy.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Establish relationships with decision makers at food service management companies
  • Prior experience working within C&U, hospitality, healthcare, and corporate dining
  • Prior experience working with food service broad line distributors

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective accounts for branded food service, C&U, Health, Corp Dining
  • Design and implement a Strategic Sales Plan outlining a methodical approach for calling on prospective accounts.
  • Identify and recruit key accounts
  • Negotiate contracts, establish pricing and terms
  • Develop strategies for market penetration and competitive positioning
  • Travel and conduct sample cuttings and attend trade shows
  • Hire and manage broker networks
  • Work both remotely and in the field doing ride-alongs with broker partners and food service sales reps. as needed
  • Other duties as assigned or necessary
