About The Position
As a Food Server for Best Friend at Park MGM, you will bring the vibrant, high-energy spirit of Roy Choi’s Korean BBQ-inspired concept to life by guiding guests through a bold and shareable dining experience. By confidently taking and delivering orders, explaining menu items with enthusiasm, and creating a fun, social atmosphere, you will help guests feel immersed in the unique fusion of LA street food and Korean flavors. Through attentive table maintenance, seamless check presentation, and completion of side work, you will ensure smooth operations while delivering memorable, flavor-driven moments that keep guests coming back to Best Friend at Park MGM.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 5+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
- Food and Beverage experience in a high-paced environment with food service experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with Korean Cuisine preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
- Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approach.
- Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment.
- Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and Point of Sale (POS) stations.
- Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
- Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees.
