About The Position

As a Barista for Starbucks at Park MGM, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience by welcoming each guest with genuine warmth, energy, and personalized service in a fast-paced, high-volume café environment. You will craft quality beverages and food items to Starbucks standards, taking time to understand guests’ preferences and needs, and creating meaningful, memorable interactions. Your role involves connecting with guests, collaborating with your team, and delivering efficient, friendly service to enhance every guest’s visit.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant preferred
• Previous experience as a Barista for Starbucks or a similar Coffeehouse environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
• Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments
• Properly label and date products per-safety and sanitation procedures
• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
