About The Position

The Food Server is responsible for creating the overall guest experience, taking food/beverage orders, carrying out wine/beverage service, performing table maintenance, completing side work, maintaining health code standards, and providing excellent customer service for our guests as defined by outlet standards. This role requires prompt, efficient, and friendly quality service, compliance with all department and company rules, and maintaining current and accurate knowledge of all menu items. The server will also be responsible for servicing all beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), bussing tables, completing side work, assisting the host/hostess when needed, attending meetings and training sessions, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • One (1) years’ related culinary work.
  • ABC License.
  • Ability to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily.
  • Ability to talk and hear.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to climb or balance.
  • Ability to stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least twenty-five (25) pounds.
  • Varied instances of standing/walking.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.
  • Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
