About The Position

The Food Server position at SU CASA is a full-time role responsible for greeting guests, managing the host podium, and performing various service duties. This includes having full menu knowledge, delivering food items, describing and upselling food and beverages, and operating a POS system for payments. The role also involves answering phones, taking to-go orders, balancing cash drawers, and ensuring accurate financial transactions. Servers are expected to possess basic math skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for the duration of their shift. Key responsibilities include identifying and delivering menu items, cleaning and setting tables, pre-bussing, and maintaining the cleanliness and stocking of side stations and beverage areas. The position requires strong teamwork, adherence to company service standards, and a positive, professional demeanor.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a warm friendly smile.
  • Organize host podium and complete other assigned duties.
  • Deliver food items to proper tables.
  • Describe and upsell food, non-alcohol, and alcoholic beverages.
  • Operate a Micros (POS) point of sales system to accept payments.
  • Receive payments by cash, credit cards, city ledgers, points from player cards, and coupons/vouchers.
  • Answer the phone and transfer calls properly.
  • Take and accurately assemble to-go orders.
  • Balance cash drawer and all receipts turned into the cage.
  • Identify menu items quickly, accurately and deliver food orders to corresponding tables.
  • Clean and set tables as needed.
  • Remove dishes, glassware and silverware from the tables, continuously pre-bussing tables, condiment and beverage area.
  • Take dishes back to the dish room.
  • Clean and stock soiled dishes, glassware, silverware and napkins.
  • Properly fill ice machine, sanitation buckets, cleaning of side stations, sweeping and mopping.
  • Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton expectations.
  • Check for proper identification of a guest appearing to be under the age of 30 years old.
  • Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Managers/Chefs.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.
  • Accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
  • Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts.
  • Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts.
