All Food Servers deliver prompt, efficient, and courteous service of food and beverages to restaurant guests in accordance with venue standards. They take and fill food and drink orders, assist in maintaining the dining area and kitchen in a clean and neat manner, and maintain current knowledge of the menu and key ingredients, paying special attention to products that contain or may contain allergens. Servers inform guests of various food outlet offerings, refill beverages in a timely manner, and perform pre-busing of tables continually, keeping them free of excess clutter. They work in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations, and monitor guests' needs continually, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled. Servers also assist other restaurant personnel with maintenance tasks, participate as a team member for a smooth operation, and receive payment from guests courteously, adhering to cash control policies and procedures. They utilize the Point-of-Sale system, quote accurate pricing, give correct change, and account for all sales. Fine Dining Food Servers must also maintain knowledge of and keep current with trends regarding food, wine, and spirits to ensure an excellent dining experience.
