About The Position
As a Food Server at Salt & Ivy in Aria, you will be the heartbeat of our inviting café and patio bar, where every meal is an experience waiting to happen. Nestled beside a lush pool deck, our restaurant offers a casual dining ambiance that seamlessly blends indoor coziness with the fresh air of our charming patio. Your primary responsibility will be to take and deliver customer orders with a warm smile, ensuring that each table remains well-maintained and our guests’ satisfaction is your guiding star. Imagine enhancing our guests’ mornings with delightful breakfast classics, light and healthy fare, and elevated American favorites, all while sipping on handcrafted cocktails at the bar. In this pivotal role, you’ll also finalize checks and perform essential side work, including keeping your stations sparkling clean. Your diligence will help maintain the relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere that our patrons adore, whether they’re enjoying a sunny lunch on the patio or a cozy evening indoors.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Nice To Haves
- 5+ Years of Prior Relevant experience as a Food Server in an upscale, luxury, or similar high volume restaurant environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Take and deliver customer orders with a warm smile.
- Ensure each table remains well-maintained.
- Finalize checks and perform essential side work.
- Keep stations sparkling clean.
- Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
- Utilize selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approach.
- Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment.
- Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and Point of Sale (POS) stations.
- Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
- Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees.
