The role of the Server is to wait on tables promptly, courteously and to serve the guest in any way possible.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
- Must have strong communications skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
- Must have Food Handlers and ServSafe Alcohol Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of fine dining service.
- Must have full familiarity with menus.
- Must have full knowledge of beverage offerings.
- Station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
- To polish and clean glass and silver wares.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
- To have dollies’ underliners ready.
- To fold various napkins for service
- Service to guests.
- Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained.
- Clean and maintain restaurant.
- Knowledge of Micros Computer System
- Help other associates whenever possible and maintain a dedication towards teamwork.
