This role is for a Food Scientist focusing on poultry, with primary responsibilities in cost optimization, innovation, technology development, and quality improvement. The position involves developing emerging technologies, optimizing costs, and commercializing new and improved products and/or processes under the guidance of a manager. This includes all stages of product and process development, such as writing new product specifications and ensuring regulatory labeling and food safety requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of scientific methods and leverage knowledge of ingredients, product formulation, and food processing to develop innovative food products. This role may involve supervising a team of hourly technicians. The position is eligible for relocation assistance but not referral payout.
